I just finished the book. It has helped me a lot as I lost my 15 year old granddaughter who had CdLS (Cornelia deLange Syndrome) in March. She was no-verbal and non-ambulatory. I have cared for her all her life and had custody and guardianship of her for the past nine years. This book has helped me in my grieving process and I do want to thank you and Alex for writing it. She was a very special little girl. We went to church together every week and I do miss her terribly. Thank you again.

  2. I have been and am praying for Alex. In reading on your wed site [here] I have been unable to find the most recent report]e.g. July 18, 2010] on how Alex is doing. ‘Don’t want to burden you, but can you tell me…..or tell me what to “click” on to find out.
    Love and Prayers,
    Julie Taylor

    Mr. Malarkein,
I have watched the story about you, Alex and your family on TBN twice. I have encouraced other to watch also. I cannot tell you how inspiring it has been to me and others. I have ordered your book and look forward to reading it!
I have dealt with a number of health problems over the last year and became extremely depressed as a result. Seeing your story was a blessing, to say the least.
I am a born again Christian and I am afraid I let the old devil work me over with the depression and health issues. Seeing Alelx and his testimony woke me up and reassured me that God is ever-present and it is not Him that is not listening, it is us, (me), who is not listening. God Bless you and your family and know that my prayers are with you. Also, Alex spoke of being a missionary in spreading the word of God to those who do no hear it………Please reassure Alex that through his message he has already begun the journey and may not even realize it. Your story certainly brought me back to where I needed to be. Thank you for sharing your story with all of us!

I read the book it was out standing. I bought mine at wal-mart and there were only 2 left. It also helped me with something I was having a hard time with. After reading this I know everything is o.k.

Even though we have never met, I felt I needed to share a little bit of my story and miracles received by the grace of God. I feel your pain, and I pray for your beautiful son. He is so right about Heaven and Angels. I began my spiritual journey in February, 2006. My son Stephen transitioned to the spiritual realm at the age of 18, after a car accident. He was driving with a friend. I had to know why, and my faith in God got me through so much pain and grief. I started to receive, once I truly surrendered. I have more wisdom and know without a doubt that we do continue, and there are other dimensions. I have been touched by God and feel the energy of my son. This is a gift, because I know I have to tell my story over and over again for the highest good. When we believe and have faith, miracles do happen. I also wrote a mini book, Angel 54 A Mother’s Sacred Journey from Grief to Healing. My hope is to inspire others to open up there heart and mind, and trust in God. I continue to receive so much guidance. Uncondional love does not die.

Kevin, what a remarkable message you and Alex have to tell the world. I found your book to be one that I couldn’t put down, I’ve recommended to family and friends across the country and your message came clearly. Yes God is special but I can’t help to Alex is a special young man in his own right. He has visited Heaven more than once, talked with God while there, and is spreading the word of God even as he continues with his recovery. I can’t help but think as he matures and gets older, he will have even more to tell and great things will come from him. But you and Alex can take comfort in knowing that God is the most important one in our lives and he has given us all a beautiful gift of learning more of what awaits us when we enter eternity. He has taken a young man to fill us in on what awaits us. So yes, we think Alex is special in that sense of the word. May he continue to heal and I too pray one day he will walk again, if not here on Earth than most definitely he will do so in the Kingdom of Heaven in the company of God. Bless you and your beautiful family.

I saw your testimony on TBN last night – so inspiring! Just one question…you mentioned a particular song about miracles, about being in a situation to need a miracle. Please share the title of the song. I’d like to hear the entire song.

Thanks! Praing for you and Alex and your family!

Two days before my 25 year old brother was in a car accident I ordered this book. Two days after being in the ICU I received it. Six days now in the ICU and I have began reading. My husband walked through the door tonight returning from the hospital and I exclaimed, “this book is unbelievable and I cannot believe it is in my hands!” I read bits to my mother tonight over the phone, as she sits with him day after day. Thank you for your testimony, your healing words, answers to things I’ve been feeling but can’t explain. The Lord has chosen your son to bring hope to our family just as you declared, and a lamp to our feet toward the glories of heaven. I am in awe. I pray for the fruit of the spirit for your family this day.

Kevin, saw you on Life Today, who supports All Things Outdoors. God has called and allowed me to serve others by giving them an opportunity they may not have without the vision of ATO. I don’t know if Alex would be interested in going hunting but if he would we would be honored to give him that opportunity. We are located 1.5 hours west of FT Worht TX near Stephenville. Thanks for allowing God to be glorified thru your journey in life. Your book will be on the table at the ranch where we do our hunts, I know it will expand our ministry tools as we have the opportunity to minister to many families that have endured similar circumstances in life but need the example of someone that has recieved God’s grace in the mist of their darkest moment. Thank all of you for using the platform that God has placed before you. Alex I pray God directs you very clearly in your missionary journey, which it is evident you are well on your way. Serving Him with you, Bo

    Hi Kevin:

I heard your interview with George Noory on Coast To Coast AM that your son was a Steeler fan. I have a friend who plays for the Steelers. Would you you like me to make contact with him for your son? I beleive your story and believe that our Lord and Savior is coming back soon!

I hope to hear from you,
    Brian Moon

I lost both my daughters November 6, 2010 in a head on collision with an intoxicated driver. My daughters were killed instantly. Cristin (12yrs old) and Katie (11yrs old) were traveling home with their Dad after cheering at a little league football game. Their Dad and the other driver both survived the crash with no injuries. These were my only children and I have struggled tremendously with the loss. My daughters were my life. Cristin had just made the basketball team at school, played softball, little league cheerleader and took tumbling classes. Katie was Vice President of Student Council, little league cheerleader and also took tumbling. Needless to say every evening we were running somewhere. My house is extremely quiet and I feel so empty and lost. As a Mother, I worry about my daughters even though I know they are in good hands. I wondered if they were scared, who’s taking care of them or what if they needed something. Reading your book and hearing of Alex’s experiences with heaven gives me more comfort. It’s a constant daily struggle to keep going and at times I get so exhausted. But I know now that they are in a wonderful place and being well taken care of. And for that, I thank you.
